Forest City is committed to fostering economic growth and the development of local, small, and disadvantaged business enterprises through business development programs and public/private contract compliance. These small businesses make significant contributions to our local economy through job creation and business expansion. Mentor Protege Program Opportunities

Application deadline: Feb. 29, 2012

Washington DC-certified CBEs are invited and encouraged to become protege companies within Forest City's successful Mentor Protege Program related to the development of the Parcel D/Phase I project (residential/retail complex) at The Yards. Promising building trades companies will be paired with a mentor company in order to expand expertise, skills base and increase capacity for future opportunities. Protege companies skilled in the following trades are encouraged to inquire about becoming involved in this building trades mentor protege program:

Sheeting & Shoring

Earthwork

Dewatering

Utilities

Displacement Pile

Augered Piles

Concrete

Waterproofing

Plumbing

Surveying
